About Adrienne

Adrienne Endres is a Deputy Chief of Academics at Attuned Education Partners, where she focuses on K-12 language and literacy development. Adrienne partners with school and system leaders to provide professional development, coaching, and tailored resources focused on language and literacy acquisition. She supports the development and implementation of Dual Language programs and  English language development, modeling and coaching to best instructional practices for multilingual learners. She also develops guidance for classrooms that are multi-age and multi-grade, as well as those with newcomers and SLIFE students. At Attuned, Adrienne has supported the implementation of language and literacy programming and HQIM in large systems nationwide. She has developed strong multilingual learner programs and structures at both the school and district level. Her work with school systems includes coaching and developing multilingual education leaders, designing instruction and programming, including multi-age, multi-grade, and dual language models,  facilitating professional development, developing tailored language and literacy resources and action plans, and fortifying strong school-based and central office leadership teams.

Career Summary

Adrienne’s career began as a bilingual teacher in Perú. She has held various instructional and leadership positions at both school and district levels in Denver, including as the Executive Director of Multilingual Education in Denver Public Schools, a system that serves nearly 30,000 multilingual students. At DPS, she expanded dual-language programming, increased the number of Seal of Biliteracy recipients, and increased graduation rates for multilingual learners. 

Education, Awards & Fellowships

Adrienne holds a B.A. in Journalism and Technical Communication from Colorado State University and an M.A. in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education from the University of Colorado Denver. She also completed the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Women in Educational Leadership and The Forum for Educational Leadership programs.

My Why

Adrienne has seen the impact of leveraging students’ language and culture as assets, and she firmly believes in the power of public education to level the playing field and provide rich, engaging, culturally and linguistically sustaining educational experiences. She believes that language is power, all students’ linguistic and cultural background should be seen as an asset throughout their educational journey. 

What Brings Me Joy

Outside of Attuned, Adrienne loves to try to keep up with her two amazing children. She is an avid listener of audiobooks and enjoys making and sharing food with friends and family. To stay grounded, she tries to spend time in the sun and practice yoga whenever she can.
