About Bill

Bill Leach is the Director of Software at Attuned Education Partners, where he helps lead the design and growth of Attuned’s software tools. He partners with school systems across the country to strengthen how they collect, analyze, and act on data. Bill also oversees Attuned’s customer success strategy, helping leaders translate insights into meaningful improvements for educators and students. At Attuned, Bill has supported ~100 partner school systems in implementing tools that improve staff retention, elevate instructional practices, and increase strategic clarity. He has helped launch survey platforms completed by over 20,000 educators, guided systems through progress monitoring against multi-year strategic plans, and helped design and build dashboards that translate complex data into practical next steps. Across his work, Bill focuses on creating sustainable systems that directly improve school experiences for teachers and students.

Career Summary

Before joining Attuned, Bill served as a Vice Principal and Special Education Program Manager at Ingenuity Prep in Washington, D.C., where he designed evidence-based systems for evaluating and supporting students with disabilities. Prior to that, he managed special education and state testing programs at Success Academy in New York, and earlier served as a special education teacher in elementary and middle schools.

Education, Awards & Fellowships

Bill holds a B.A. in Linguistics from the University of Richmond in Virginia, and a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Special Education from Touro Graduate School of Education in New York.

My Why

Bill’s motivation is rooted in his career-long commitment to supporting students with disabilities and the educators who serve them. While leading special education programs in schools, he saw how easily disjointed systems could create barriers for students and teachers alike. Bill is driven by the belief that thoughtfully designed tools, processes, and structures can allow educators to focus on what matters most: ensuring all students, particularly those furthest from opportunity, thrive.

What Brings Me Joy

Outside of work, Bill enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and rock climbing, traveling and exploring new cities, countries and cultures, and engaging in community-based programs in his home state of West Virginia.
