About Brittany

Brittany Bernacchi is a Senior Director of Leader Development at Attuned Education Partners, where she provides thought-partnership and support to school and system leaders through instructional coaching, professional development, and content-specific support. She also helps support schools internally, developing shared resources and designing professional learning for teams. Brittany’s varied partnerships at Attuned have impacted students nationwide. One particularly successful project has been her work with the Louisiana Department of Education through their Coherence Cohort initiative, which resulted in double-digit growth for all schools in the cohort around culture indicators, as well as indicators of increased alignment and impact in pilot schools. In addition, some of the Boston Public Schools where she coached leaders in SY24-25 produced top math growth on statewide end of year assessments.

Career Summary

Prior to joining Attuned, Brittany served as Senior Manager of Teacher and Leader Development for DSST Public Schools. DSST was recognized as the Broad Prize winner for Public Charter Schools in 2018. While Brittany worked there, 100% of DSST students were accepted into four year colleges. Brittany also served as an Associate School Director and Director of Curriculum and Instruction at DSST Green Valley Ranch High School, which consistently has been rated one of the top high schools in Denver and in Colorado. Prior to moving into leadership at DSST, Brittany served as a math and math intervention teacher as DSST students achieved top math growth in the state of Colorado.

Education, Awards & Fellowships

Brittany holds an B.A. in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. She was a Relay Graduate School of Education National Principals Academy Fellow and a KIPP Foundation Leadership Design Fellow.

My Why

Brittany’s passion for education comes from being raised by a family of teachers. She has a particular passion for Special Education, with many Special Education teachers in her family. She first entered the education field with the intention to uplift and support students with learning disabilities, and she began her career as a Special Education teacher.

What Brings Me Joy

Brittany is a proud Chicago native and comes from a giant family. She loves being active, spending time outside, and traveling, especially to Spanish-speaking countries.
