Chief Strategy Officer

About Dina

Dina Hasiotis is a Chief Strategy Officer at Attuned Education Partners, where she partners with school system leaders to build actionable plans aligned to their vision of success and tackle the challenge of improving student outcomes at scale. She works side by side with senior leaders as they work to implement their plans, including through progress monitoring, direct coaching, and organizational design and sustainability. At Attuned, Dina leads our partnership with the Louisiana Department of Education on their Strong School Systems Initiative (SSI). Through this initiative, Attuned has supported 40+ school systems across the state, representing 45% of parishes and 140,000+ students. Over the course of our partnership, Louisiana has seen tremendous student results, including outperforming the nation in Grade 4 reading and Grade 4 & 8 math gains, according to the latest NAEP results. In addition, Dina has supported a variety of other district and charter school partners around the country on strategic planning, organizational design, and school consolidations/mergers, resulting in stronger leadership team vision, dynamics, and impact over time.

Career Summary

Before Attuned, Dina worked at NOLA Public Schools in leadership roles building and executing support and accountability systems in the nation’s first all-charter school district. As the Senior Advisor to the Superintendent and the Chief School Support and Improvement Officer, Dina managed multiple divisions tasked with creating strategic initiatives for system-wide improvement, providing direct support to schools, and handling district communications. Dina also managed the district’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring that equitable resources and services were provided to students across the city. Prior to NOLA-PS, Dina was a Partner at TNTP where she led strategic partnerships with school systems nationwide. She also served as lead researcher for TNTP’s landmark report The Mirage: Confronting the Hard Truth About Our Quest for Teacher Development.

Education, Awards & Fellowships

Dina holds a B.A. from Harvard College and a Masters in Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.

My Why

Dina is motivated by a deep belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn and thrive in a welcoming, challenging, and safe school environment. As a teacher in New Orleans, Dina learned quickly that the work to achieve that belief requires intentional and dogged leadership by educators. Her work helps systems clarify their focus and remain committed to that goal.

What Brings Me Joy

Dina loves cooking, bringing friends and family together, crafting with her daughters, climbing and hiking, and creating and admiring beautiful costumes and decorations in New Orleans.
