About Jessica

Jessica Long is the Deputy Chief of Adult Learning at Attuned Education Partners, where she partners with school systems and nonprofits to strengthen leadership capacity, build healthy adult cultures, and align teams around mission and purpose. She designs and leads transformational learning experiences that help leaders and teams unlock their potential in service of equity and impact. Jessica supports senior leaders through executive coaching and professional learning, particularly in moments of innovation—whether launching new schools in Attuned’s incubator, redesigning programs, or imagining bold new ideas. Among Jessica’s SY23-24 projects at Attuned, end-of-year data reflects a 100 NPS score and 100% of respondents reporting they are better positioned to improve student achievement and equity after their partnership and that our engagements provide sustainable tools and resources.

Career Summary

Previously, Jessica worked as a district leader for Denver Public Schools (DPS), both as the Director of School Data Culture and as a Secondary Regional Math Specialist. In both roles, she designed adult learning and developed resources to support school improvement during a time of DPS’ rapid improvement. As the founding principal of two Colorado middle schools, Jessica has experience leading high-performing schools for students who have been historically underserved, and founding a school that has consistently been rated one of the top performing middle schools both in Denver and Colorado.

Education, Awards & Fellowships

Jessica holds an M.A. in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Denver and a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. She is also training for her International Coaching Federation Certification (PCC level) and is a certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator.

My Why

What motivates Jessica is a deep belief that every student deserves to be truly seen, heard, and valued for who they are, and that all students can achieve at high levels, especially in math. Jessica is also inspired by the adults who dedicate themselves to supporting kids. She believes that when educators are equipped to thrive—growing in their leadership, purpose, and joy—they create the conditions for students to flourish.

What Brings Me Joy

Jessica loves reading, yoga, learning new things, and spending time traveling with her daughter.
