About Sam

Sam Falk is the Chief Software Officer at Attuned Education Partners, where he identifies opportunities to deliver impact through software. Sam and the software team design, build, and test Attuned’s software products, and support partners and team members as they use the software. Since Sam began leading Attuned’s software efforts, Attuned’s software products have been used by over 2,800 users from 108 partners. Attuned’s Survey platform generates critical data through the completion of over 20,000 surveys. Attuned’s Observation platform, which collected over 18,000 classroom observations in SY24-25, led to implementing curriculum improvements and professional development.  38 school systems manage their strategic plans in Attuned’s Plan Management tool, which assists leaders and teachers in improving coordination and communication.

Career Summary

Sam has more than 30 years of leadership experience in software. He has worked on engineering, product management, customer support, and customer success teams. Sam began his career at Pegasystems as a software engineer and grew with the company to eventually serve as Vice President of Global Customer Support and Vice President of Product Management for one of the critical product teams. Prior to Attuned, Sam served as Chief Customer and Product Officer for BoardOnTrack, a software firm catering to charter schools. In that role, he managed customer success and support and drove product improvements, synthesizing knowledge into enhancements that delivered necessary outcomes.  As the Chief Product and Systems Officer, Sam oversaw the integration of BoardOnTrack and TransACT’s systems while driving product management.

Sam holds a B.S. from  Haverford College and an M.S. in the Management of Technology from MIT Sloan.

My Why

Sam has always been fascinated with technology, and he loves solving problems.  After a long career in enterprise software, Sam longed to use his software skills in support of a mission that matters to him, which he has found at Attuned.

What Brings Me Joy

Sam enjoys eating great food and drinking great wine. He is not much of a chef, except for baby back ribs in his smoker, spaghetti sauce, and a mean apple crisp, but he is world-class at ordering any kind of takeout. Sam also loves spending time with his two Labrador Retrievers who rule the house. Sam is an absolutely terrible musician, but he can push play on any number of music devices.
